Roland Gift, one of modern music’s true torchbearers and the charismatic front man of the Fine Young Cannibals, is back in the pop arena with his new solo album, the self-titled Roland Gift. Gift’s distinguished career has expanded in recent, post-FYC years to include critically-lauded film acting and musical score work. Roland Gift marks a triumphant return to pop music’s front line, where Gift’s talents and unique style have long established him as one of the genre’s trailblazers. A great voice never goes out of style, and Gift’s trademark vocal prowess is both timeless and strikingly ahead of his time.

During the making of the new album, Gift took time out to work on the latest entry in his other illustrious career, a film resumé that includes Sammy And Rosie Get Laid, Tin Men (for which FYC also supplied the music, at the special request of director Barry Levinson), and Scandal. Gift’s most recent acting work is for the forthcoming The Island of the Mapmaker¹s Wife, directed by Michie Gleason, for which Roland put recording on hold for two months, while on location in Amsterdam with the production. Gift readily admits to a happy balancing act between the two disciplines. "When I first started, I wanted to be an actor. That’s one of the reasons I came down to London from Hull. But most people I know have been in a group sometime in their life. The first punk band I was in [the Acrylic Victims] got a bit of notoriety, released a couple of singles,my music focus grew from there."
Highlights of the set include "Money" and "Looking For A Friend," two songs Gift co-wrote with the highly successful American song writing team of Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers. " ‘Money’ was one we first thought would end up as a b-side or in the bin, and this other song I can hardly remember now was the one we thought was important from that session. Sometimes it works out that way as a song evolves. I played ‘Looking For A Friend’ live quite a lot, and it was one of those songs that really worked."
Gift looks forward to more live shows, where he will perform the new songs from Roland Gift and some classic fan favorites. "There are a lot of people who liked the Cannibals who never saw songs like ‘She Drives Me Crazy’ in concert, and since I wrote them as well, I’ll definitely do some Fine Young Cannibals songs."
Gift’s professional career has taken him from stage to screen and back again, as his fans around the world await the release of Roland Gift.

SLADE - Without doubt one of the most exciting bands to come out of Great Britain in the past 30 years. With their unique blend of pop-rock’n’roll, outrageous flamboyance and pure fun, and no less than 23 Top-20 singles of which 6 were No-1 smash hits. Slade have become a firm favourite in our hearts of pop fans all over the world.
SLADE’S chart career has spanned 3 decades and their enduring songs "Cum On Feel The Noize" and "Coz I Luv You" are still featured today in TV commercials for some of the World’s biggest companies.
Throughout the seventies, Slade became one of Europe’s biggest bands, touring and recording continually and making regular trips to America, Japan and other parts of the world. Slade’s catalogue of hits are synonymous with the era:- "Take Me Bak ‘Ome", "Mama We’er All Crazee Now".
At the beginning of the eighties, Slade were invited to appear at the Reading Rock Festival, a massive annual event which attracted over 100,000 people. They literally stole the show, giving some of the world’s biggest rock bands a serious run for their money whilst kindling new interest from a whole new audience. As result, the band signed a new record deal and unleashed the anthem "We’ll Bring The House Down", which reached the Top-10 in the UK in January 1981. Slade were back!
Led by founder members Dave Hill and Don Powell, the bands latest additions are ex Mud bass guitarist John Berry, frequently spied in the guise of the Big Issue seller in Eastenders, and new lead vocalist Mal McNulty. Mal has had an extensive career, he featured with Rockin Horse in the 70s, heavy rock band Golden Night, German rock band Hazzard, and he was a founder member of London fun-pub band Paddy Goes To Holyhead.
Slade today is still one of the most exciting bands on the road, and their stage performance is a dynamic, powerful and exhilarating roller-coaster ride of
pure unadulterated rock’n’roll.

Howard Jones returns for a UK tour in November, his first since 2014, with his new and extended Electric Band; The tour will also coincide with a brand new ‘Best Of’ Howard Jones release Entitled ‘BEST (1983-2017)’. Audiences can expect to hear many of Howard’s chart topping singles as well as new songs that featured in the recent Eddie the Eagle film (2016) and his 2015 multi-media ‘ENGAGE’ project.

It was in 1983 that multi-instrumentalist Howard Jones first burst onto the contemporary music scene with his very British songwriting, pioneering synthesizers and thought provoking lyrics. He set out his manifesto in his very first single ‘New Song’ where the lyrics called on the listener to challenge their preconceived ideas, to see both sides and "throw off your mental chains".

Along with ‘New Song’, his first two albums, the twice Platinum, Number 1 selling Human’s Lib (1984) and Dream into Action, the Gold selling record that peaked at Number 2 in 1985, brought Howard a host of Top 10 hits including ‘Things Can Only Get Better’, ‘What Is Love?’, ‘Pearl in the Shell’, ‘Like to Get to Know You Well’, ‘Hide and Seek’, ‘Look Mama’ and ‘No One Is To Blame’, which reached Number 1 in the USA. He also performed at Live Aid (Wembley Stadium) in 1985.
